Why Children and Adults Should Compete
Some things we learn in life only through challenges presented to us, we are a product of our environment. Therefore we must leave our comfort zone from time to time to grow in character. Martial Arts tournaments afford us the opportunity to challenge ourselves and realize our potential.
By attending our tournaments children and adults alike will be able to:
- A: Demonstrate their Martial Arts Defensive moves in a Simulated Self Defence scenario.
- B: Learn to perform their skills under pressure and external stimuli (people yelling), developing Courage and Concentration.
- C: Have a goal to keep them motivated and to learn how to properly prepare themselves for a challenge
- D: Meet like-minded people aspiring to achieve similar individual goals, acquiring life long friends along the way.
- D: Prepare for larger events or use this event as a stepping stone for Professional events.
- E: An opportunity to learn from the experience, wether it is a loss or a win.
- F: to strengthen the bond between Student/Instructor or amongst Teammates.
- G: to see what other schools are working on and to develop long term plans.
