The Survey Results are In!

October 24, 2013

After a a fair amount of discussion as to wether children 8 years old should be able to do Submissions at local tournaments we opened a survey to see what the public thinks.  I was interested in the results and they will affect how we manage tournaments in the New Year.  Keep in mind this will not change the rules for the Calgary Tournament this weekend.

I was very impressed with the interest and thank you to all that took the time.  Like I have mentioned before, we want to take steps towards the official IBJJF rules every year and we will let you know which changes will be made over the Christmas break.

Good luck to all that are competing at this weekends tournament in Calgary held at MMA University!
